I am a happily married mother of two grown daughters (a hairstylist and a choir teacher), 3 dogs and 3 cats. By day, I am the librarian at Tuloso-Midway High School. By night and weekends, I am a volunteer extraordinaire. I am a Sunday School teacher and choir member at my church, a member of the Tuloso-Midway Education Foundation, and president of the planning team for Teen Bookfest by the Bay, and a variety of other committees, teams, and activities. Teen Bookfest has allowed me to become closer friends with the amazing librarians from school, public, and university libraries in my area, and to meet many authors who light up our students' eyes.
