This research-based presentation offers an overview of what augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) are, how they have been used in education for the last two decades, and how you can use them today. Through live demonstrations and hands-on trials, attendees will come away with a working understanding of practical uses of these immersive technologies in their schools. Highlights of this session include making your own VR and AR experiences based on favorite fiction and nonfiction books.
