3D printing isn't a novelty! Are you new to 3D printing or stuck in a rut and feel like 3D printing is only being used for fun? Come and learn how 3D printing can be used in the library as an instructional tool. This professional development session will show participants how the Brennan librarian and a social studies teacher collaborated to use 3D printing in lessons. When 3D printing is combined with augmented reality apps like HP Reveal, students are engaged in innovative lessons that challenge their critical thinking. Bring your library into the future and become a hub of active learning where librarians can create 3D projects that use technology to enhance teacher’s lesson plans.
