Do you feel stressed? Do you feel you have little to no time? Do you wish to have more meaningful relationships and healthy interactions on a consistent basis? Mindfulness practice can help you transform your life in these areas, as well as others such as increased awareness, increased memory, clearer thinking, feeling at ease and calm, regulating your emotions, and increased empathy and compassion for others and yourself. In this workshop you will learn about the neuroscience that supports this secular practice. We will discuss how neuroscience and various practices can help us to help ourselves and each other with stress, as well as our desire for lasting durable happiness. We will practice mindful breathing and mindful eating, as we share various resources that can help support your practice of mindfulness when at work, home, and everywhere.
